Mindful Meditation at Hoffler Creek

Want to learn about mindful meditation in a beautiful natural setting? Join us during one of our monthly classes to do just that! Sessions will be led by Kathleen Foster, a certified meditation teacher with over 18 years of meditation practice. In addition to learning basic techniques, we will review the well-documented medical evidence that meditation practice reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and actually slows the aging process. No special cushions, incense, sitting cross-legged, or new age music required! Attend one class or all, free, with donations to Hoffler Creek welcome.
*Participants must be 10 years or older.*
Advance registration is preferred. The class will meet outdoors under the Pavilion located on the opposite side of the parking lot from the Visitor’s Center. From the Pavilion, the group may or may not walk to another location during the class. In case of rain, classes will remain under the Pavilion.
