Hampton University professor Dr. Shawn Dash will host this early evening talk presenting the nature of living at night. He will focus on the nocturnal birds of the eastern United States, along with some worldwide examples, to explore the nighttime world around us. Examine skulls and other model owl parts. There will also be guides for younger visitors who may be interested in learning more about the world of birding. Afterward, we will explore the trails of Hoffler Creek, looking for owls and other feathered friends.
