Olde Towne Holiday Lights – A Progressive Illumination of High Street from the Tree Lighting to the Arrival of St. Nick!
Friday, November 22 from 5 – 9 pm
Enjoy a hometown holiday tree lighting complete with decorations, music, live entertainment, and even a little snow followed by Santa arriving by fire truck and lighting up the night! The kids can enjoy special crafts, face painting, fairy hair, and the first 100 families will receive a free commemorative family photo. Additionally, the Olde Towne shops will be open late for you to enjoy. You can be sure to get in the holiday spirit right here in Olde Towne!

Get a raffle ticket from each business you visit and drop them off at Bloom Market to win one of 3 great prizes.

Coleman Collection Nativity Scene and free hot apple cider

Holiday Tree Lighting
Middle Street Mall 5 – 7 pm
Enjoy holiday music, face painting, fairy hair, and free make and take ornaments sponsored by That Art Store. The first 50 visitors can get a free 5×7 commemorative holiday photo (1 per family) sponsored by Mobile Photo Lab and the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with some goodies from Hello Sweetie Cheesecake and grab a coffee or hot chocolate from The Coffee Shoppe.
Please share your joy by bringing a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots. The Portsmouth Mounted Patrol will stop by for photos!
The Olde Towne Art & Music Children’s Chorus will perform at 5:30 pm.
Holiday Tree Lighting Program 6 – 6:20 pm
Enjoy Father Christmas and the Colonial Carolers, and watch the Snow Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy light the tree. Don’t be surprised if you even see a little snow!
Next, follow the Portsmouth Pipes, the Gingerbread Man, and Santa’s elves to the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center Lighting 7 – 7:15 pm Enjoy watching the Grinch, Cindy-Lou-Who, and the Olde Towne Arts & Music Children’s Chorus Light the Courtyard!
Finally, follow the Portsmouth Pipes, the Gingerbread Man, and Santa’s elves to High & Green Street where Santa Arrives by Fire Truck & Lights up the Night! 7:30 pm
