If butter poached lobster satay with flying fish roe and lemon truffle extra virgin olive oil paired with a 2013 Russian River Mannino's_Italian_restaurant_olde_towne_portsmouth_shopping_diningValley Chardonnay sets your heart racing, then mark your calendar for Feb. 2.

Mannino’s is hosting a four-course dinner at its Portsmouth location to feature a different Folie a Deux wine to complement each course. The winemaker, Joe Shirley, will be on hand to educated and illuminate.

There’s also a prosciutto-wrapped asparagus salad with house smoked goat cheese and poached Bosc pear as well as a dehydrated bacon seared petite Colorado lamb chop with purple potato puree and a sun-dried cherry Cabernet reduction. Dessert is a white chocolate blueberry bread pudding with cocoa raspberry glaze.

Reservations required. A seat at the table costs $75 and the event starts at 6 p.m.
