June is starting off with a bang – mark your calendars – don’t miss these great FREE events!
First Friday Concert in the Courtyard is June 3 from 5 – 7 pm! If you have never had the pleasure of hearing Vontrelle and the Portsmouth Jazz Experience you are in for a TREAT! Put on your dancing shoes and come out and enjoy refreshments, seeing friends, and spend the evening in the beautiful courtyard.
You can also enjoy FREE admission to the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center exhibits
Hanging Tree Guitars & Soul Finger Project.
In addition to great music, you can enjoy shopping at the Support Portsmouth Public Art First Friday Art Market! With 15 local artists and 8 authors displaying their work around the perimeter of the courtyard, you are sure to find something special for yourself or someone you love.
Support Portsmouth Public Art will be selling art from the Ida Kay Jordan estate both Friday night and Saturday.
Make sure you return on Saturday, June 4 for even more FUN!
Yoga in the Courtyard is BACK at 8 am!
The Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market now has 40 vendors every week!
Support Portsmouth Public Art is sponsoring the First Saturday Art Market from 9 am – 2 pm across from the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market. Come visit some local favorites and meet some awesome new artists!
In addition to FREE admission to the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center, you can also enjoy great live music while you are shopping at the Farmers Market and Art Market! The First Saturday Morning Music Series presents The Rhythm Project All Star Pan Drum Ensemble from 10 am – 12 pm in the courtyard.
From 10 am – 2 pm you can enjoy treasure hunting with 70 vendors at the Olde Towne Antique & Flea Market!
Next don’t miss the first annual Portsmouth Pride Festival from 11 am – 5 pm! Enjoy live music from Headliner R & B singer/songwriter TWEET and more!
