The Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market brings a lively, festival-like atmosphere every week, but the first Saturday of the month takes it to another level! With over 150 vendors, our “Triple Market Day” transforms Olde Towne into a bustling marketplace, featuring the Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market (9 am – 2 pm), First Saturday Art Market (9 am – 2 pm), and Olde Towne Antique & Flea Market (10 am – 2 pm). It’s the perfect day to explore, shop, and soak in the energy of these vibrant community events!
The Portsmouth Olde Towne Farmers Market, a volunteer-driven, nonprofit, is a vibrant community hub featuring 60 vendors along High and Court Streets, beginning in front of the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center, which offers free admission on first Saturdays. More than just a traditional farmers market, it’s an amazing gathering place where visitors can enjoy live music, vintage cars, costumed vendors, and even yoga under the trees in the courtyard. Each week brings something new!
With a strong focus on fresh, local food and handcrafted goods, the market offers a variety of farm-fresh produce, grilled heirloom meats, a coffee bar, specialty teas, pastries, and other delicious ready-to-eat treats. Vendors change weekly, but shoppers can expect to find artisan soaps, candles, jewelry, hand-sewn, knitted, and crocheted items, along with one-of-a-kind crafts and gifts.
This kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and welcoming market held every Saturday is the perfect place to connect with local farmers, artists, and makers while enjoying the charm of Olde Towne Portsmouth.
