Halloween Safe Trunk or Treat
Date: October 28, 2023
Location: Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion & Festival Park
Description: The event is produced each year in October as a safe alternative to trick or treating. Groups of City departments and community groups come together each year to distribute candy and entertain kids (and their parents). Music, crafts, face painting, and other entertainment takes place throughout the event. There’s even a haunted house operated by the Portsmouth Police Department. Costumes are encouraged (and there are some pretty good ones each year too!) but not required.
