The classical/neo-soul/R&B fusion quartet features lead vocalist Micah Christian, pianist and guitarist Cordaro Rodriguez, cellist and vocalist Kendall Ramseur, and harpist Mason Morton. They met as graduate students at Boston University and went on to gain national attention in 2014 when they auditioned for Season 9 of NBC-TV’s America’s Got Talent. The panel of celebrity judges voted them through the audition round and eventually as finalists were invited back in 2019 to perform on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where they received standing ovations. Since the talent competition, Sons of Serendip has toured nationally creating music that touches people’s hearts. Some notable performances include the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, as well as collaborations with Cynthia Erivo, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops.
