Live in Concert: A Scottish Serenade at

St. John’s Church

7 pm

Join U.S National Scottish fiddle champion and Gàidhlig singer Seán Heely for a night of beautiful acoustic music from Scotland, Ireland, and beyond at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Suffolk Square in Olde Towne Portsmouth, Virginia.
Joining Seán will be All-Ireland men’s singing champion, guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Kevin Elam and also champion harper and singer Abbie Palmer. Portsmouth native and Junior US National Scottish fiddle champion Colin McGlynn will also be joining the trio for a few numbers.
The first performance of this series in March 2024 allowed the trio to curate a repertoire that is perfect for gorgeous acoustic spaces such as the sanctuary at St. John’s. Sublime vocal harmonies will fill the space while Celtic tunes will soar on the fiddle, flute, and harp. Come and hear tunes, songs, and stories in a grand acoustic setting with us on November 22nd, 2024.
