The Jewish Museum and Cultural Center presents A Serious Man as part of its Winter Film Series inside Chevra T’helim, the oldest temple in Portsmouth. The series is Saturdays at 7 pm. This is a free event, but donations are always welcome.

Directed by the Cohen Brothers. Larry Gopnik, a Midwestern physics teacher, watches his life unravel over multiple sudden incidents. Though seeking meaning and answers amidst his turmoils, he seems to keep sinking.
