Clean the Bay Day at Hoffler Creek

Celebrate Clean the Bay Day at Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve on Saturday, June 5, starting at 9 am. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s mission to Save the Bay starts in inlets just like Hoffler Creek. Litter accumulated in the creek from nearby residential areas can harm physical habitats, spread chemical pollutants, and threaten aquatic life. Help us remove this litter before it can cause any further damage or make its way into the Chesapeake Bay.
Kayaks supplied by HCWF will be used for trash clean-up in the creek. A few nets and reacher/ grabber tools are available, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have them. Seats are limited, and registration is required.
