This year marks a truly special occasion—the 200th anniversary of the Hill House, an iconic landmark in Olde Towne Portsmouth. Built in 1825, the Hill House serves as a museum, where stories of the Hill family enhance visitors’ understanding of Portsmouth’s rich history.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone on Saturday, October 25th, from 10 am to 5 pm at the Hill House Museum (221 North Street). The day will be filled with festive events, including Colonial Williamsburg tradesmen demonstrations, lectures from historical experts, talented musicians, local reenactors, and culinary offerings from the Fort Nelson Chapter of the DAR.
