A Portsmouth tradition since 1884, the Memorial Day Parade is one of the oldest parades in the country commemorating the holiday. The annual event salutes the service and sacrifice of the men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces. Enjoy floats, marching bands and lots of excitement. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and travels on High Street from Peninsula Avenue (at I.C. Norcom High School) to Crawford Street.
