Olde Towne Living History Tours

Olde Towne Living History Tours

Unfortunately, Colonel Crawford will not be able to hold tours until August 2017.

Colonel William Crawford founded Portsmouth, Virginia in 1752. Today, there is a different Colonel Crawford portrayed by Eric Price, who strolls through Olde Towne Portsmouth bringing this city’s rich history to life. Based on Portsmouth’s real-life founder, Price is well versed in all things colonial and, of course, all things Portsmouth.

Since 2002, Colonel Crawford & Company has offered Olde Towne Portsmouth Living History Walking Tours to great acclaim. Scheduled Tours last 75-90 minutes and leave from the lobby of the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel, 425 Water Street, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 8 pm from May through October. Tours are $10 per guest, paid at the tour. Private Tours are available twelve months a year with advance notice and a minimum of four guests. To book a tour in advance, call 757-391-0155. IT’S NOT JUST A TOUR, IT’S ENTERTAINMENT. For information call the Portsmouth Visitor’s Center at 757-393-5111 or visit www.ColonelCrawford.com.
