The "27th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) 5-6:30 p.m. Witness a motorcade of vehicle that flood the city 7-9 p.m. Visit information tables, meet and greet dignitaries and experience entertainment and demonstrations. Cradock Rec Center, 4300 George Washington Hwy. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to: • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs; • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
