The Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race – delayed start!

DUE TO THE WEATHER THE SCHOONERS ARE LEAVING FRIDAY MORNING & WILL BE DELAYED ARRIVING.
The Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race promotes awareness of the Chesapeake Bay, maritime heritage and encourages preservation and improvement of the bay’s ecosystem. The public is invited to watch the Schooners as they arrive on Saturday between noon and 4pm; however, all schooners will be available for external viewing the entire weekend.
There will be an informal get-together for early arrivals at Roger Brown’s at 6:00. The public is welcome to come and mingle with the crews of the schooners that completed the race.
